ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Campbell (13-6, 6-1) rallied to claim four singles contests and stretch its league winning streak to six matches Saturday with a 4-3 triumph at UNC Asheville.

Tamara Stanic, Amelie Reichart and Ewa Telenga won in straight sets for the Camels, who have won eight of their last nine dual matches. 

Karolina Chernaya dropped the first set 6-3 to Zoe Hamel at the top singles spot, but rallied to win 6-1, 6-3 and improve to 22-6 on the year, 74-29 in her career.  Chernaya remained unbeaten against Big South opponents (7-0), while moving to 15-3 at the first position.

Stanic (22-6) also won her 22nd singles match of the year, 16-2 in duals and 6-1 vs. Big South competition.

Ana Maria Ortiz and Telenga improved to 7-0 at the third doubles position.  Asheville dropped to 10-8 overall, 2-5 in the Big South. 

Campbell hosts Charleston Southern Monday at 2 p.m. before closing the regular season at Winthrop next Friday (Apr. 11).
