JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Campbell's track & field teams concluded competition at the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary on Saturday at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.
At the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary, the top 48 individual teams and top 24 relay teams from the East region will be competing for the rights to head to the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The top 12 finishers, in both individual events and relays, then advance on to the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 11-14 in Eugene, Ore.
Anna Scott, a freshman from Kingston, Jamaica, finished 15th in the women's 200 meter dash with a time of 23.69. She narrowly missed going to the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships as the 12th place finisher ran a time of 23.60 to claim the final spot in the event.
The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary ends the season Campbell's track & field teams.
