BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's kickoff times for all 12 regular season football games have been finalized.
The Camels open the 2014 season, the second under head coach Mike Minter, with Charlotte at Barker-Lane Stadium on Thursday night, August 28 at 7 p.m. The contest will be the program's second Thursday night game after opening the 2012 season against Shorter in Buies Creek.
The team's first road test will come at Appalachian State on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. The Camels will then head to Charleston Southern on Sept. 11 for their second Thursday night outing of the year, and another 7 p.m. kickoff.
Campbell will open Pioneer Football League play at home on Sept. 27 against Valparaiso. The game will be part of CU's annual Family Weekend, kicking off at 6 p.m.
The Camels will face Butler at noon (Oct. 11), Davidson at 4 p.m. (Oct. 18), followed by Stetson (Nov. 1) and Missouri Baptist (Nov. 8) at 1 p.m., rounding out their home slate.
Campbell's trips to Morehead State (Oct. 4), Jacksonville (Nov. 15) and Dayton (Nov. 22) will all feature 1 p.m. kickoffs, while the Camels' Oct. 25 contest at Marist will begin at noon.

The Camels went 3-9 overall in 2013, finishing the year with a 47-14 win at Davidson. Campbell set 21 team offensive records in Minter's first season, including rushing yards (2,800), passing yards (2,436), and total offense (5,236), four defensive, including sacks (27), and three on special teams.
Senior Kurt Odom was named First Team All-PFL while seven Camels took home honorable mention nods. Odom, along with Adam Lutz, Ben Bolling and Hunter Somerville were also First Team Academic All-PFL. Michael Rudisill and Lucas Smith both earned Second Team honors.
