BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell held the first of three scrimmages in the 2014 preseason Thursday night at Barker-Lane Stadium.
The team completed an hour long 11-on-11 situational scrimmage after going through position and special teams drills, as well as 7-on-7.
Campbell continues preseason camp tomorrow at 2:45 p.m. The Camels will host their next scrimmage a week from now, Thursday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m.
The Camels' third and final scrimmage will be at 6 p.m. on August 21. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with press box and suite tours throughout the event. A raffle for a Mike Minter signed CU Football helmet will also be available.
Immediately following the scrimmage at 7 p.m., the Camels will host a meet the team event.
Campbell began its 22 session preseason training camp on July 31.
CU will kick off the 2014 season Thursday night, August 28, at 7 p.m. against Charlotte.
