WILMINGTON, N.C. – Three Camels earned two wins each, but Campbell fell 163-130 Saturday at UNC Wilmington.
The loss dropped Campbell to 4-9 in dual meets this season.
UNCW picked up 32 points to start the meet on one and three meter diving events.
Michelle Case gave the Camels their first event win with the 200 free, coming in at 1:55.91. Five races later, Case grabbed another victory, this time in the 100 free with a 54.48. Lily Tang then topped the 200 backstroke with a 2:06.94 mark.
Campbell rallied in the final four events of the day, outscoring the Seahawks 51-23 over that time.
Sarah Jabusch started the surge with a win in the 500 free, clocking in at 5:09.46, while Geena Squartino took third with a 5:17.76.
The top two times in the 100 fly came from CU's Caroline Clark and Erica Wammock, posting marks of 57.83 and 1:00.30, respectively, to pull Campbell closer.
Jabusch again grabbed an individual victory one event later, recording a 2:11.42 in the 200 IM, while Lily Tang placed fourth (2:13.63) and Clark fifth (2:16.67).
Campbell picked up 13 of the 17 points in the day's final event, the 200 freestyle relay, notching a 1:38.61 winning time behind Sindija Silina, Kat Costin, Alice Rigback and Michelle Case.
Campbell will wrap up the regular season in three weeks at James Madison, Jan. 31. The meet will be the Camels' final tune-up before heading to the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships on Feb. 18.
