BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell hits the road for the annual All-North Carolina Invitational this weekend at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The 2015 All-NC Invitational begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Camels hits the water first with the 200 free relay, event No. 3 of the day.
Saturday will begin with the 200 medley relay at 10 a.m.
A total of 11 teams will compete in the invitational with the Camels, including host North Carolina State, Catawba, Davidson, East Carolina, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina A&T, Queens, St. Andrews, UNC Asheville and Warren Wilson College.
Admission for the event is free, but parking at the Greensboro Aquatic Center will be $5 per day. Live results will be available via the Meet Mobile app available for iPhone or Android.
Campbell began the 2015-16 last weekend, falling 171-120 in Buies Creek to Liberty.
Michelle Case paced the Camels in their season opener, swimming the 200 free (1:56.23) and 50 free (24.9). Individually, Case turned in outstanding splits while anchoring the 400 free relay (51.71) and the 200 free relay (23.76). Case won the 200 free, helping Campebll take the event, she also took second in the 50 free with a 24.90, just behind Liberty's Rachel Hoeve.
Campbell will travel to Georgia Southern next Friday, Oct. 9, and North Florida Saturday, Oct. 10. The Camels return home against UNC Asheville on Oct. 24.
