BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell returns to the Johnson Aquatic Center Saturday, hosting Vanderbilt and North Carolina A&T at noon.
Campbell split last week's meet, topping Gardner-Webb 154-108 while falling to East Carolina 162-94. The Pirates topped Gardner-Webb 175-81, while ECU's men also defeated the Bulldogs 157-103.
The Camels moved to 4-3 in dual competition on the season.
Michelle Case led the Camels, winning the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.50. The sophomore narrowly took second in the 200 free with a 1:54.18, just behind ECU's Anna Maria Svanbergsson. Case was also part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team that posted a time of 1:37.16, as well as the runner-up 400 medley relay team (3:54.08).
Caroline Clark (2:07.50) and Madison Scott (2:09.63) took second and third in the 200 butterfly. Camels also went two-three in the 200 IM with Sindija Silina (2:11.58) and Clark (2:12.21).
Geena Squartino also took a third place showing in the 400 IM with a time of 4:29.02. Also taking third place finishes were Karah Sizemore (200 back, 2:09.29, Clark (100 butterfly, 57.61), Sarah Jabusch (500 free, 5:12.22).
The Camels head to the Georgia Tech Invitational Nov. 19-21. Campbell returns home on Feb. 6, hosting UNC Wilmington and Mount St. Mary's.
