ASHEVILLE, N.C. --- Bradley Farias scored the game-winning goal in the 55th minute to lead the Campbell University men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at UNC Asheville on Saturday night. With the win, the Camels (9-8-0, 5-4-0 BSC) earn the fourth seed in next week's Big South Conference Championship and will host a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday.

Farias' goal was his conference-leading 14th of the season and fourth game-winner. Jeff Kennedy (3-1-0) made eight saves on all eight shots he faced to pick up his second shutout of the season. UNC Asheville (6-11-1, 3-6-0) goalkeeper Zak Davis (6-8-1) took the loss while making five saves.

The Bulldogs registered the first shot on frame in the 28th minute with Kennedy making the save. Kennedy made two more stops in the next 10 minutes, including on a header off a corner kick.

Reafe Anderson put a header on frame in the 39th minute for the Camels, but Davis made the save. Kennedy kept the halftime score 0-0 with back-to-back stops a minute before the break.

After Farias put the Camels on the board nine minutes into the second half, CU picked up the offensive intensity and put three shots on frame in the next five minutes. Davis made stops on all three attempts, while Kennedy stopped Zach Compton's shot in the 79th minute.

Defense dominated the final 10 minutes of action as neither side was able to put another shot on target before the final whistle sounded and CU picked up the 1-0 win.

Farias led all players with four shots, while Anderson, Isaiah Page, Michael Clemmons and Ish Rodriguez each had two. The Camel defensive line fought away six Bulldog corner kicks en route to their third shutout of the season.

Following the match in Asheville, the Big South announced the seedings for the 2015 Men's Soccer Championship. Winthrop and Radford both earned a share of the regular season championship with Winthrop taking the top seed based on its victory this season over the Highlanders. Coastal Carolina is the third seed followed by Campbell in fourth. All four seeds will host quarterfinal matchups on Tuesday.

Longwood is seeded fifth and will face the Camels at 7 p.m. at the Eakes Athletic Complex. High Point is sixth and will head to Coastal while Gardner-Webb is seventh and will face Radford. UNC Asheville claimed the eighth and final seed and will travel to Winthrop.

Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C. will be the site of the semifinals and finals on Nov. 13 and 15. The quarterfinals and semifinals will air on the Big South Network, while the final will be shown on ESPN3. The Big South's tournament champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament.
