CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Senior Evan Darm has been named the Big South's Male Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

The award marks the third consecutive week that a Camel has earned the award, with freshmen Lennox Williams and Lawrence Kipkoech earning the honors over the last two weeks.

Darm turned in a strong performance at last weekend's Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame, finishing ninth overall with a time of 14:28.91 in the men's 5,000m run. That time marked a personal indoor best by nearly 25 seconds for the senior from Ottawa, Ill.

The Camels will return to action in three separate meets over the next three days, traveling to the High Point Team Challenge (Winston-Salem, N.C.), the SPIRE Invitational (Geneva, Ohio) and the Husky Invite (Seattle, Wash.) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
