CLINTON, S.C. – Campbell men's tennis extended its winning streak to five games as it defeated Presbyterian 4-3 Sunday afternoon at the Templeton Tennis Center. The Camels improved their record to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in Big South Conference play.
In doubles play, Campbell won all three matches as it downed the Blue Hose by a 24-14 margin; the team split its singles matches with Presbyterian.
Sophomore Nicolas Rakitin defeated Diego Manzanas 6-4, 6-3 to win his sixth-straight match, and improve his season record to 10-2. Senior Steven Billington downed Joel Roberts in straight sets 6-3, 6-3, and freshman Lukas Schaefer clamied victory against Ryan Miller 6-1, 6-1.
Campbell men's tennis will return to action Wednesday as they host Winthrop at the Nisbet Tennis Center staring at 2 p.m.
