CONWAY, S.C. – Morgan Noad homered in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Coastal Carolina to a Big South Conference doubleheader sweep over Campbell Saturday at the CCU Softball Stadium.
Noad hit her 10th home run of the year to lead the Chanticleers (15-15, 3-2 Big South) to a comeback 5-4 win in the night cap. Coastal won the opener 10-5. The teams will complete the three-game series with a 1:00 p.m. start Sunday.
In the opener, Kailey Mellen hit two home runs and Annie Robinson also hit a round-tripper to key Coastal's 10-hit attack. Kiana Quolas (8-9) allowed three earned runs on nine hits with no walks and seven strikeouts to earn the win for the Chants.

Camise Patterson's solo blast – her third of the season – pushed the Camel lead to 4-1 in the fourth. Quolas tied the game in the bottom of the sixth on a three-run shot, her fourth home run of the season, before Noad's game winner came one inning later.
Mackenzie Conrad (1-2) worked 2/3 of an inning of relief to earn the victory for Coastal. Katie Baker (8-8) suffered the tough-luck loss, allowing two earned runs on eight hits with three walks and 14 strikeouts.
