JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Davian Rhodes, Lilla Juhasz and Jacob Kipserem represented Campbell on Friday evening at the NCAA East Regional hosted by the University of North Florida, claiming a trio of top-35 finishes.

Rhodes and Kipserem each outperformed their pre-competition seeding in their respective events, while Juhasz posted her fourth-best 100m hurdles time of the season.

Kipserem, Campbell's record holder in the 3,000m steeplechase, finished 34th overall in the event after crossing the line in 9:05.47 on Friday evening. The Big South's lone representative in the event, Kipserem improved upon his time from the Big South Championships by more than four seconds. Florida State's Zak Seddon broke the tape in 8:34.84 to take the gold medal in the event.

Rhodes tied for 17th among the 48 athletes in the men's high jump, posting a mark of 6-10.25 (2.09m). The sophomore nearly equaled his personal best mark of 6-11 (2.11m) and tied with Southern Miss's Courtland Wells in the event. Seven athletes finished in a tie for first, and Adam Aguirre of Mississippi claimed the 12th and final spot in Eugene after winning a jump-off.

Juhasz narrowly missed advancing to Saturday's quarterfinals in the 100m hurdles, placing 26th overall with a time of 13.53. The school-record holder in the event, Juhasz came within six hundredths of a second of claiming the final spot to advance, while Kentucky's Kendra Harrison posted the top time among the 48 competitors.

Campbell will wrap up competition at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday evening as Lawrence Kipkoech and Amon Terer compete in the men's 5,000m run at approximately 8:45 p.m. Kipkoech has already become the Camels' first qualifier to reach the NCAA Championships since 2010 with his seventh-place performance in the 10,000m run.
