Tuesday Golf Tips with John Crooks

Following is the third in a series of golf tips from Campbell University's John Crooks, a 2006 inductee into the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

3. As a coach, I am always conscious of my players' scores and I hope they improve.  To help them improve, we stress that most practice time is done with putting and wedges, not full swings and drives. But it's fun to hit drives and make full swings, and there should be time for that.
