SMITHFIELD, N.C. – Campbell recently headed to nearby Smithfield, playing a game with the Miracle League of Johnston County.
On Thursday, Oct. 20, the Camels split up into two teams, with each Campbell player pairing up with a buddy, helping them play three full innings of baseball in front of a great crowd of friends, family and supporters.
At the conclusion of the night, Campbell presented the Miracle League with check for $2,500 for new uniforms and equipment.

The Miracle League was founded in 1998 in Georgia and has spread throughout the country with the mission of the organization being to provide opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of their disability. Currently, there are more than 200 Miracle League sites across the country, including Puerto Rico.
