Grapplers who earned ranks on the coaches panel were chosen from a pool of coaches representing the wrestling conferences. He must also have wrestled within the last 30 days and have competed against five Division I opponents.

Campbell wrestling had three grapplers represented in the RPI ranks and two in the coaches panel. Nathan Kraisser and Paul Duggan made both lists while Ville Heino earned a spot on the RPI list.
