SOUTH BEND, IND. – Eight members of the Campbell track & field program represented the Orange and Black in the 2016 Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
For the women's side, Lilla Juhasz set a new career-best in the 60-meter hurdles as she ran 8.35s in the event finals. She improved her mark in each race as she ran an 8.52s in the first race and in the semifinals she posted an 8.46s mark, followed by her new career-best.
Juhasz also participated in the 60-meter dash where she ran a 7.815s. Deonica Reid also ran for Campbell in the 60-meter dash, finishing seven spots and .053s behind Juhasz.
Jocelyn Culbreath represented Campbell in the 200-meter dash and finished the event with a season-best 25.46s, placing 48th. She also competed in the 400-meter dash where she set another season-best mark of 57.30s.
Tatiana Wolfe also participated in the 200-meter dash as she fiinished with a time of 25.61s, four places behind Culbreath. She also ran a personal-best in the 60-meter hurdles with a mark of 8.67s in the qualifying race. In the finals she finished with a mark of 8.74s.
In the women's high jump, Shenelle McKay posted a season-best 1.67-meters, placing her in a tie for eighth in the event. In the triple jump, she recorded an 11.55-meter mark, placing her 21st.
Sabina Allen finished third in the triple jump with her new career-best of 12.51-meters on her final jump. In the long jump event, she posted a 5.53-meter mark, which placed her in 21st position.
Khai McLin ran in the 300-meter dash for the Camels, posting a 7.03s time. Davian Rhodes finished fifth in the men's high jump with his height of 2.12-meters, a new personal-best for the junior.
Lorne Jenkins participated in the men's triple jump, where he finished with a 14.21-meter mark. He also represented the Camels in the long jump, recording a 6.97-meter jump, placing him 14th overall in the event.
Campbell returns to the track next weekend at Winston Salem, N.C. in the HPU Team Challenge hosted at the JDL Fast Track.
