BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's tennis falls to conference opponent Coastal Carolina 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center. The Chanticleers improve to 11-3, 3-0 while the Camels fall to 7-5, 1-2.

The Camels started out earning the one point lead by taking two of three doubles points over the Chanticleers. The duos of Georgina Segarra/Isabel Boada and Maud Mrad/Ewa Telenga all won their matches over Coastal's pairs. Segarra and Boada won 6-3 over Wall and Berry on court two while Mrad and Telenga won 6-4 over Babayan/Delay.

In the singles, CCU won all but one match to claim the victory 5-2. Segarra earned the lone singles point for the Camels after defeating Natalie Wall in two sets 7-6 (8-6), 6-4.

Campbell is back in action on Saturday, March 19, as they host Presbyterian in a Big South match. The start time has been pushed forward to 10 a.m.
