JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – Nadine White shot a 4-under-par 68 Monday afternoon and Campbell climbed three spots up the leader board following the second round of the Briar's Creek Invitational women's golf tournament.

In a field that includes eight teams ranked among Golfstat's top 50, the No.-54 Camels are tied for 10th (302-290—592) with Wisconsin and Penn State heading into Tuesday's final round.  No.-8 Florida leads the 18-team event at 3-under-par 573 (293-280), three strokes ahead of Indiana (291-285—576).  No.-20 Florida State is third (291-286-577), five strokes clear of No.-37 East Carolina and 47th-ranked Clemson.

After finishing Monday morning's opening round at 6-over 78, White had five birdies and an ace to highlight her second 18 holes.  Her hole-in-one came with a seven iron on the par-three, 141-yard 15th hole.  It was her third career ace, but first in collegiate competition.

The junior from Brisbane, Australia finished her day with 21 pars plus six birdies and played the par-three holes even.  After recording the team's second-lowest round of the season (behind a pair of 67s she posted last fall), White is tied for 21st-place at two-over 146 on the par-72, 6185-yard Golf Club at Briar's Creek layout.

Sophomore Annelie Sjoholm recorded consecutive 74s Monday and is tied for 36th at 4-over 148.  The native of Vasteras, Sweden was 2-under over her final eight holes of the day and collected 24 pars plus four birdies.  She also played the par threes level.

Junior Louise Latorre is tied for 43rd at 5-over 149 (74-75).  The product of Pau, France was 4-under on the par-five holes, tied for 3rd-best in the 93-golfer field.  She was even on the par threes and made 20 pars and six birdies over 36 holes.

Senior Tahnia Ravjak and sophomore Ayelen Irizar are tied for 55th place after both turned in scores of 77-74—151.  Ravnjak had 22 pars and four birdies on the day, while Irizar collected 25 pars (T8th in the field) overall and eagled the par-five 10th hole in her afternoon round.

As a team, Campbell leads the field in par-three scoring (plus-two) and is second on the par-five layouts (-8), but was plus-36 on the par fours.  CU golfers combined for 112 pars (T4th) on the day.

Campbell will be paired with Wisconsin and Penn State for Tuesday's final round, which is set for an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.  Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
