BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Ashley Clark, Lawrence Kipkoech and the women's golf team were big winners Monday night at the fifth annual CAMMYS, held at the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center. In addition, Matt Parrish, Rebecca Sheinfeld, Michael Kelly and the men's tennis team also earned top honors on a night that showcases the best in Campbell University athletics over the last calendar year.

Clark, the Big South women's soccer attacking player of the year, was named Outstanding Female Athlete, while Kipkoech, a second-team All-American at the 2015 NCAA Track & Field Championships, earned Outstanding Male Athlete honors.

Team of the Year recognition went to Women's Golf, which advanced to the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Championship finals and won the 2016 Big South title.

Parrish, a senior on the baseball team, was named Mr. Campbell, while Miss Campbell honors went to Sheinfeld, a senior on the lacrosse team.  Kelly was named Coach of the Year after guiding the men's cross country team to the Big South title.  The Highest Team GPA Award went to Men's Tennis.

Established in 2011 under the guidance of Athletics Director Bob Roller, the CAMMYS is led by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, which consists of male and female student-athletes from CU's 21 NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics programs.
