GREENSBORO, N.C. – Campbell track & field competed in the Aggie Invitational, hosted at North Carolina A&T Saturday afternoon. This was the final meet before Campbell hosts the 2016 Campbell Invitational in Buies Creek.
Davian Rhodes took home first place in the men's high jump, clearing the 2.05-meter mark on his second attempt. He was the only participant to clear the 2.00-meter and 2.05-meter mark in the event. Chase Edwards set a new season best in the event as he cleared the bar at 1.90-meters.
Lilla Juhasz also set a new seasonal best in the 100-meter hurdles. She finished first overall with a time of 13.39s. With her time, she currently sits in the top-25 of the east region, which sets her up for an opportunity to compete at the NCAA East Regional.
Tashinga Chitambria tied a season best in the 100-meter dash, finished fourth among collegiate competitors with his 10.63s time. In the men's 200-meter dash, Khai McLin finished in fourth place out of the 39-participant event, running a 21.90s.
Campbell returns to competition April 15-16 as it hosts the annual Campbell Invitational at the Irwin Belk Track Complex in Buies Creek.
