BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Lawrence Kipkoech and Amon Terer capped of the 10K season with a pair of second team All-America finishes as Kipkoech finished 9th and Terer finished 11th out of the 24 man race. Kipkoech is now a two-time second team All-America winner, while Terer claimed his first second team All-America award.

Kipkoech completed the race with a time of 29:24.69, finishing 1.21 seconds behind 8th place. Terer's 11th place finish was 4.18 seconds behind Kipkoech at 29:28.87. With those two finishes, they are the highest teammate pairing to finish the 10K race Wednesday evening. NC State had finishes in 7th and 20th position and Syracuse recorded a 10th and 20th position.

Kipkoech and Terer had multiple moments throughout the race where they paced the lead pack in the race, even holding the top two spots throughout the 25-lap race. During the race the lead alternated with a plethora of runners taking the lead, including eventual champion Edward Cheserek from Oregon.

Earlier in the season, Terer set a new school and personal best in the 10K during the Mt. SAC Relays with his time of 28:54.42. He finished third among collegiate competitors and fifth overall. Kipkoech also set a new personal best for the 10K race at the Raleigh Relays, crossing the line at 29:11.00, claiming fourth place overall.

The Campbell pairing is set to compete in the 5K race Friday evening at 10:25 p.m. eastern time, airing live on ESPN and ESPN3. Kipkoech qualified for the 5K race with his time of 14:11.40 during the regional race, while Terer qualified with a time of 14:10.79.
