Baseball announces fall camp dates

BUIES CREEK – Head coach Justin Haire and the Campbell University baseball team have announced the dates for the 2016 Team Camp and The Best of the Carolinas Prospect Camp.

Team Camp will be October 14-16. Friday night, players will have the option of showcasing their skills in batting practice and defensive workouts. Each team will play two games, taking place on either Saturday (Oct. 15) or Sunday (Oct. 16). In between games teams will have two instructional sessions administered by Campbell players and coaching staff members. The cost is $750 per team (additional $50 per player after 15 players).

The Best of the Carolinas camp is open to student-athletes in eighth through 12th grades, as well as junior college players. Players will receive instruction and be evaluated on their baseball skills and potential for college play. The cost is $250. Interested participants are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Dates for the 2016 Prospect Camp are November 5-6.

Camps will be held on the Campbell University campus at Jim Perry Stadium.
