Pauline Roustan and Isabel Boada clinch a 5-2 win over UNC Asheville

BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Seniors Isabel Boada and Pauline Roustan won the match for the Fighting Camels today in a 5-2 victory over the UNC Asheville Bulldogs. This second consecutive 5-2 win marks Campbell's fourth conference victory this season. 
 
Boada, a senior from Bolivia, once again clinched the doubles point for CU with doubles partner Inma Ramon. Their 6-4 win over Asheville's Kylee Shipley and Hannah Francisco marks their fifth doubles win this season. Teammates Lou Regen and Ana Castillo notched the first doubles win of the day with a 6-3 win over Bulldogs Emily Sidor and Christin Louw.
 
Lea Cutura kicked off singles action for the Camels with a 6-1, 6-0 win to defeat Kylee Shipley. Alexandra Nicoara followed through with a 6-0, 6-2 singles win as well over Anastasia Horvat. Roustan, a senior from France, kept the winning streak going for Campbell when she clinched the match with a dynamic 6-2, 6-2 win to beat Madeline Finley. This win for Roustan follows after she clinched Friday's match, a 5-2 victory over Longwood. Regen closed out the match day action with a final singles win with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 decision over Sidor.
 
Next Match: The Campbell Women's Tennis team hosts Radford in their second to last conference match before the 2019 Big South Championship. This match will take place Saturday March 30, and the first serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
