RADFORD, Va. - Campbell advanced to the semifinals of the Big South Championship after a 4-0 win over Charleston Southern.
Campbell clinched the doubles point early to take the lead. Doubles duo Lea Cutura and Pauline Roustan clinched the point with a 6-4 decision over Filippa Ericson and Kimberley Koerner.
The Camels followed with three straight singles wins to take the match. Alexandra Nicoara came in first with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Pyritz. Lea Cutura followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win to defeat Yana Morar, ending the match with an overall 2-0 record.
Castillo clinched the match at No. 3 with a mark of 6-4, 6-4 over Man.
