BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell extended its win streak to three matches Saturday with a 5-2 victory over Gardner-Webb at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
 
The Camels (8-7, 3-1) dealt the Runnin' Bulldogs (6-7, 4-1) their first Big South Conference loss while winning for the sixth time in the last seven matches.
 
Rhona Cook and Mialy Ranaivo won their fourth-straight doubles match to clinch the point at the top position.
 
In singles play, Marissa Pennings won her eighth-straight outing, while Ranaivo claimed her sixth victory in a row with straight-sets decisions.  Sandra Gines also won in straight sets, while Mariana Ossa ralled to win after dropping the opening set.
 
Campbell hosts Presbyterian (5-9, 3-0) Sunday in a 1:00 p.m. first serve.
