FARMVILLE, VA. – Campbell did not drop a set in singles play Sunday in a 7-0 victory at Longwood and wrapped up the second seed in the Big South Conference Championship.
 
The Camels (14-7, 7-1) extended their win streak to nine matches and will earn a first-round bye in the Big South Championship.  CU will face either the third or sixth seed Apr. 22 in the Big South semifinals at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte.
 
Marissa Pennings team with Abbie Tyler for a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles, while Mariana Ossa and Sandra Gines matched that score for a victory at the third position.  Ossa and Gines ran their win streak to three matches and finished league play 5-2, 10-6 overall.
 
Tyler dropped only one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win at the sixth singles position.  Rhona Cook, Pennings, Mia Ranaivo, Gines and Ossa also won in straight sets.
