CLINTON, S.C. – Campbell defeated Presbyterian 5-2 Saturday in women's tennis action at the Templeton Center Courts.
The Fighting Camels (4-7, 1-2) halted a four-match win streak and earned their first Big South Conference victory of the season.
Campbell clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win by
Veronika Prospalova and
Abbie Tyler at the second position. The Camels then secured the dual match victory by winning the third-through-sixth positions in singles.
CU returns to action next Saturday (Mar. 18) with a 1:00 p.m. first serve at home against Longwood.
