Camels wrap up Big Southern Shootout

Spartanburg, S.C. - The Fighting Camels completed three days of action at the Big Southern Shootout this weekend, hosted by Wofford College. Campbell joined Southern Conference schools Wofford, Chattanooga, and Western Carolina, against Big South schools Gardner-Webb, Longwood, and Radford in a conference battle. The SoCon team + Campbell downed the Big South 57-28 in the event, with one point awarded for each match win.

In total, Campbell went 11-10 in singles matches, and 7-2 in doubles matches.Sandra Mari Marti turned in the best mark for Campbell at a perfect 3-0 in doubles, and 2-1 in singles.
