WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Heading into Saturday as winners of four in a row, Campbell dropped a 7-0 decision at Wake Forest inside the WFU Indoor Tennis Center.

The Demon Deacons (4-4), coming off a 4-3 loss to No. 24 South Carolina earlier in the day, defeated Campbell (4-2) in straight sets.

Marcella Cruz and Mia Ahmad clinched the doubles point for WFU with a 6-2 win over CU's Veronika Prospalova and Tamsin Hart. In singles play, Jingyi Li sealed the dual win for Wake Forest, defeating Prospalova 6-1, 6-1.

The matchup was Campbell's third against an ACC foe this season.

Next up, Campbell will travel to Conway, S.C. to take on Coastal Carolina Tuesday, February 20.
