Biography

Fall 2004:  Ranked number-130 nationally by Golfstat heading into the spring tournament schedule… Played in 4 of Campbell’s 5 events, notching a 75.1 stroke average over 10 rounds… Opened her collegiate career with 3-straight top-10 finishes… Made her debut at the Shoot-out at the Legends (Oct. 4-5) and shot 75-80-72—227 to tie for 8th individually and help CU to 3rd in team standings… Shot 75-73—148 at the Hatter Fall Classic (Oct. 18-19) to finish 6th and help CU to team title… Tied for 10th at John Kirk Lady Panther Intercollegiate (Oct. 25-26) with a 77-73—150 as CU placed four golfers among the top 10 individuals to win team championship at Eagle’s Landing, site of the LPGA Chick-Fil-A event… Low round of 71 was at Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate (Nov. 1-2) where she tied for 26th (82-73-71—226) and CU won its 3rd-straight team honor.

Prep / Personal:  Camila Lopez Mori was the number-one ranked junior in her native Chile when she signed with Campbell … Finished as the runner-up in the 2003 South American (Adult) Amateur championship (November 2003) in Colombia...  Has played for Chile on both the adult and junior level the last four years in international events, including the 2001 South American Junior, where she helped her team to the championship…  Has participated in the World Amateur Championship and the Junior World Championships four times… Finished among the top 20 in each of the last two World Juniors… Finished in the top 30 at the Orange Bowl Junior Championship… Born July 25, 1984 in Santiago, Chile… Second top-ranked Chilean to join Campbell program in the last 2 years, following 2004 Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year Alejandra Shaw to Buies Creek… Professional golf management major.
