2006 Cross Country: Earned A-Sun All-Academic honors...Captured a first place finish at the UNCW Invitational with a 19:02.10 on the 5K course...Placed third at the Campbell Invitational (4K, 15:14)...Finished seventh at the Gardner-Webb Duals (4K, 16:26.50)...eighth place finish at the Raleigh Invitational (5K, 19:36)...Also finished 14^th at the Atlantic Sun Championships with a time of 20:03 in the 5K race...

Prep/Personal: Was a four year letterwinner in cross country...holds her high school records in the 300m, 800m, 1500m, and steeplechase...captain for both the cross country and track & field teams her senior year...she achieved the Outstanding Girl Graduate honor and was on her school honor roll all four years in high school...she is the daughter of Don and Suzanne Farquharson...she has four siblings Mari (30), Kathleen (25), Joe (23), and Alex (21)...majoring in studio art...
