Career Honors:
- 3x NJCAA Long Jump All-American
- 2x NJCAA (Region 11) Long Jump Second Team All Region
2021 at Iowa Western CC: Indoor- Began the season with two first place finishes in the long jump, one at the 2021 Mel Tjeerdsma Classic with a mark of 7.07m (23’ 2.5”) and at the 2021 Herschel Neil Invite with a mark of 6.94m (22’ 9.25”). Finished second in the long jump at the 2021 Washburn JUCO Challenge with a mark of 6.95m (22’ 9.75”). At the Region XI Championships, finished second overall in the long jump with a mark of 6.86m (22’ 6.25”) and finished fifth overall at the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at 7.17m (23’ 6.25”).
Outdoor- Set a new personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 14.23m (46’ 8.25”). Competed in the triple jump, long jump, and 4x100 events.
2020 at Iowa Western CC: Indoor- Competed primarily in the triple jump, high jump, and 60 events. Finished fourth overall and set a personal best in the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the long jump with a mark of 7.28m (23’ 10.75”). Placed second in the NJCAA Region XI Indoor Championships in the long jump at 7.20m (23’ 7.5”). Set a personal best in the 60 with a time of 7.22 at the 2020 Northwest Open. Finished third in the triple jump at the Dutch Athletic Classic 2020 with a mark of 13.08m (42’ 11”).
Personal/Prep: Originally from Portmore, Jamaica and attended Calabar High School in Kingston, Jamaica. Majoring in business administration and plans to either continue competing professionally or work in real estate. Son of Maurice Johnson and Kim Richards.
