Bill Priestley is responsible for the creation and execution of broadcast and digital media for GoCamels.com and the Big South Network.  Hired in 2013, he produces graphics, posters and videos for CU athletics as well as announces men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball and women’s lacrosse games on the Big South Network.

A native of Sewanee, TN, Priestley came to CU in 2010 as a graduate assistant for two years where he helped coordinate streaming efforts and aided the Campbell University Radio Network as a pre, half and post game show host.

Bill has worked in sports radio for 18 years in Tennessee, Indiana, South Carolina and North Carolina.  He has won 5 Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasting Association awards including one for Best Overall Radio Sports Coverage and two second place awards for Best Play-By-Play.  He has owned his own multimedia production company and has also worked for the Tennessee Titans Radio Network. 

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Furman University in 1998 and a master’s degree in education from Campbell University in 2012.  He currently lives in Raleigh with his wife Dawn and dog Sawyer.
