2006 Track & Field:Named to the A-Sun All-Academic team...set personal best of 5:25.96 in the mile run at the A-Sun Indoor Championships…Set personal best during the A-Sun Outdoor Championships with her time of 18:54.25 in the 5,000m…she won the 5000m at the Liberty Record Bash beating her closest opponent by over thirty seconds with a time of 18:46.54
2005 Cross Country: Named to the A-Sun All-Academic team...ran at the NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Meet with a time of 24:48.20...She set her season best in the 4k at Winthrop Fall Classic with a time of 16:26.90…Set a season best in the 5k at the Atlantic Sun Championship with a time of 19:25.
2005 Track & Field: Highest finish came at the UNC Fast times meet with a fifth place finish in the 5000 meters with a time of 19:54.03 the fourth fastest indoor time of the season…competed in seven events for the Camels and was top-25 in 10 of 12 races… turned in the fifth fastest Mile time of the season…Constantly improved as the outdoor season progressed taking almost three seconds off her 800m time (2:30.21 - 2:27.71) and five off her 1500m (5:02.13 – 4:57.21)…finished eighth in the 1500m at both the Wake Forest and Liberty meets.
2004 Cross Country: Competed in six races for the Camels placing in the top-50 five times, including a No. 48 finish at the Atlantic Sun Championships… twice turned in a 20:07 in 5K races at the Winthrop Invitational (39) and the North Carolina Intercollegiate Championships (19)… Also finished top-10 in the UNCW Invitational (8) and the Campbell Invitational (T5).
2004 Track & Field: Coaches Award honoree … hard worker who ran in five outdoor meets and all three indoor meets … ran her top time in the 800 meters (2:29.20) at the Duke Invitational (4/3) … highest individual finish in the event was 18th (2:31.64) at the Carolina Fast Times Meet (4/9) … also competed in the 1,500 meters where she posted a season-best time of 5:04.96 at the Adidas Raleigh Relays (3/27) … during the indoor season set personal-best marks in the 800 meters (2:34.08) and the mile (5:31.48) at the UNC Invitational (1/31) and in the 3,000 meters (12:01.79) at the Carolina Classic (2/7).
2003 Cross Country: Competed in six races for CU as a freshman … placed 52nd at the A-Sun Championships (11/1) with a 20:34 5K … best 5K time (20:32) posted at the UNC Challenge (9/13) finishing 22nd.
Garner HS: Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee and two-time Most Outstanding Distance Runner for coach Ben Bondurant’s squad … in 2001-02 finished second in the Triangle Alliance Cross Country Championship … finished 32nd at the N.C. State Cross Country meet and 15th at the N.C. 4A State Track meet in the mile … holds the school’s cross country record for the 5K (20:56) and for the mile (5:39) … is also part of the school records for the 4x400 meter relay (4:12) and the 4x800 meter relay (10:30) … also played basketball and softball for the Trojans.
