2007 Track & Field: Named to A-Sun All Academic Team...Set a Fighting Camel record in indoor shot put at the A-Sun Championships with a 14.57 (47-09.75) effort...Another record setting performance came in the outdoor season as CU’s hammer throw mark was surpassed with a 45.75m (150-01.25) at the Cape Fear Classic...His best finish also came at the Cape Fear Classic as Ames took the top spot in the shot put event...Set a personal best discuss throw at the outdoor A-Sun championships, recording a 44.63m (146-05) mark...Also put up a personal best of 14.81m (48-07.25) in the shot put at the outdoor A-Sun Championships...Recorded 14 top-five finishes over the 2007 season...
