2005 Track & Field: Finished 29th in the triple jump and was part of the relay team that finished 19th at the NCAA East Regional at Randalll’s Island, N.Y… was the Atlantic Sun Champion in the triple jump and third place in the long jump earning All A-Sun honors in both events (1st and 3rd team respectively)…with an indoor triple jump distance of 14.64m in the finals of the Tiger Invitational, he broke Pete Duncan’s record of 14.33m (47-00.00) which had stood as the Campbell mark since 1980… also earned All-Atlantic Sun honors in the 4x400m (first team) and the 4x100m (third team)… won four triple jump competitions during the season (Coastal Carolina, UNCW Seahawk Invitational, Wake Forest and the A-Sun Championships)… best long jump finish was second at the Tiger Invitational (6.96m)… had 14 top-10 finishes and never finished lower than 29th all season… selected as the team MVP…

Prep/Personal: Lincoln Douglas Gordon, Jr. was named to the Indoor All-American squad following senior campaign and the outdoor All-American squad after junior season … a two-time team MVP and all-conference selection … earned all-region and all-state honors his junior year … had personal-best marks in the triple jump during his senior year (48-feet, 5-inches) and the 400 meters (49.8 seconds). … born on Jan. 23, 1986 in Farockaway Queens, N.Y. … has four siblings: Lance, Lloyd, Leah, and Laura … his uncle, John Wesley Meeking, Jr., boxed professionally for a decade … majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology.
