2004-05: Ranked third among A-Sun scoring leaders to earn first-team All-Atlantic Sun Conference recognition with a 75.9 stroke average (2201 strokes over 29 rounds)... Also gained a spot on the A-Sun All-Academic Team... Won her first collegiate tournament at the Samford Intercollegiate (Mar. 21-22) where she shot a collegiate-low 68 and had a pair of runner-up showings at well, at the Hatter Fall Classic and the A-Sun Championship (Apr. 11-13), where she shot 74-81-70?225 to gain all-tournament honors... Finished the season ranked 136th nationally in score vs. par according to Golfstat.... Shot 79-72-79?230 (T57) at NCAA East Regional (May 6-7)... Ended fall with 3-straight top-5 individual finishes that led her team to 3-straight tournament championships... Shot a collegiate 54-hole low 217 (74-73-70), posting her then-collegiate-low round in the final 18 to tie for 5th at the Edwin Watts Palmetto Intercollegiate (Nov. 1-2)... Her 217 is tied for the 4th-lowest 54-hole score in school history... Led team at Edwin Watts to school 54-hole record 882 (298-290-294)... 2003-04: Named A-Sun Freshman of the Year and to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team... Enjoyed her best finish of the season at the Atlantic Sun Championship (Apr. 19-21), where she was sixth individually (76-75-76--227) and the low finisher among all A-Sun Freshmen... Just missed all-conference honors with 11th-best stroke average in league following A-Sun Championship... Held a 79.7 stroke average in 10 events (2312 strokes / 29 rounds)... Posted two top-20 and one top-10 finish in six spring tournaments... Tied for 13th at Tulane Invitational (Feb. 9-10) at English Turn with a 236 (78-79-79)... Tied for 19th at Southern Miss (Apr. 5-6) where she notched a spring season low round of 74 (236 total)... Had season-low round of 72 at Shootout at the Legends (10/6) where she tied for 60th at 235 (81-72-82).
Prep / Personal: Alejandra Olivia Shaw was the low finisher for Chile in the 2002 South American Championships and placed sixth overall among 60 individuals... Qualified for the World Junior Championships and the Junior Orange Bowl tournament... Played for the U-15, U-18 and adult national teams for Chile... Her aunt, Winifred Shaw, represented Great Britain in the Wightman (tennis) Cup... Born Feb. 27, 1985 in Santiago, Chile.... A graphic design major.
