Prep/Personal: Was a four-year letterwinner at Coral Shores High School...won the 100-back county championship all four years of high school...earned county championship honors in the 100-fly her senior season...finished in third place at the district championships in the 100-back as a senior...also won the 500-free county championship as a junior...she was named team captain as a sophomore and senior...full name is Leona Marie Sola...daughter of Peter J. and Deborah Sola...Born 12/13/89 in Trenton, N.J....she lives in an area where the nearest pool growing up with 60 miles away and her parents used to drive her six days a week to swim practice...her mother even changed jobs to allow Leona the opportunity to continue to swimming competitively...even now Leona has to drive over an hour to swim practice on a regular basis while at home...plans to major in sports management and pre-law.
