2008-09:  Led team in victories (22-18) as a junior in the 125-pound weight class... Finished 3rd in NCAA East Region Championships 125-pound bracket...

2007-08: Completed the season with 11 overall victories including 8 in duals and 2 in conference... Started off CU’s conference victory over Sacred Heart with one of his own... Opened up Campbell’s victory over Apprentice with an 8-3 decision...

2006-07: Earned CAA Academic All-Conference honors...Finished the year at 2-3, following a 2-1 dual mark and a 0-2 CAA finish...Took wins late in the season against Brett Skonieczny of Duquesne and Dustin Smith of Appalachian State, both by decision...

 

Prep/Personal: Cranston F. Gittens was a three-time letter winner for the Sharks...qualified for state his sophomore and junior year at the 103 lbs. weight class, and his senior year at 112 lbs....finished third at state his junior year and fifth his senior year...recorded 119 wins over three varsity seasons...owns school record for most wins in a season with 49...he is the son of Lorraine Chance, born August 2, 1988...a history education major...
