Former ITF Futures tour competitor Vidit Vaghela is in his second year as graduate assistant coach with the Campbell University men’s tennis team.
In his first year, Vaghela helped the Camels encompass 14 wins, including a win over Charlotte.
During his time at Campbell, Vaghela has helped develop doubles teams, including wins against No. 8 nationally ranked Wake Forest.
Vaghela joined the Camels after coaching juniors’ tennis players in his native India.
He competed in the ITF Futures tour from 2018-20 and won three national titles.
Vaghela played collegiately at Monmouth University and the University at Buffalo, earning all-conference recognition at both stops. A first-team all-league performer in singles and doubles, he helped lead Monmouth to its first-ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) title as a sophomore in 2016.
After transferring to Buffalo, Vaghela earned a doubles national ranking and helped the Bulls finish as Mid-American Conference runner-up in 2018.
During his junior career, Vaghela was the India U-18 national singles champion in 2014.
A 2018 graduate of the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Vaghela is pursuing his MBA in Campbell’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business.
