2007-08: Compiled an overall record of 9-5 on the season going a perfect 2-0 in dual matches... Opened up his season by picking up his first pair of victories as a Camel at the Navy Classic... Followed up his strong performance in Annapolis with a victory in a dual meet against the Citadel... Took home 3^rd place at the Sunshine Open, 12/28-12/29, going through the tournament with an overall 5-1 record, including one technical fall...

2006-07: Earned CAA Academic All-Conference honors...Combined to go 11-11 on the season, 9-7 in dual meet competition and 5-3 in CAA duals action...Picked up three wins at the Navy Classic, one of just six Fighting Camels to accomplish the feat...Won three matches on day two of the CAA Duals...Collected a pin against Wagner on day one of the conference duals, his lone fall of the year...Nabbed a victory by technical fall in a narrow 25-23 loss to Davidson in the Camels' home finale...

Prep/Personal: David Christopher Wise was Virginia state champion at 125 lbs. his senior year, finishing with a 40-2 record and a ranking of 28^th in the nation by USA Wrestling magazine...also qualified for Virginia state tournament his junior year, placing second...two-time qualifier for state tournament while at Mountain Home HS in Idaho, placing second his freshman year at 112 lbs. and third his sophomore year at 119 lbs....compiled a 167-12 record in four years of varsity competition, going undefeated in dual meets...named Peninsula Wrestler of the Year his senior season...his teams in Idaho and Virginia qualified for state tournaments all four years of varsity competition...played baseball sophomore and junior year, earning honorable mention all-conference his junior year... he is the son of Michael and Anita Wise, was born September 2, 1987 in Mountain Home, Idaho...he is on the 3/2 master’s of business administration track...
