2016-17 (Freshman): Finished with a 4-8 overall record… He picked up one fall win and a pair of major decision victories… He picked up a fall at 6:11 over Artur Hofer (Gardner-Webb, Nov. 20)… He also picked up major decision wins over Ronnie Howard (Jan. 7), 11-0, and a 13-4 win over Anthony Jagel (Nov. 6).

From Lakewood, Colorado... Son of James and Monique Dinette, brother of Gabriel, Ileana and Emily... Wrestled for Lakewood High School under coach John Morgan, earning four letters... Placed 5th in the Colorado state wrestling tournament as sophomore... Placed 6th in the Colorado state wrestling tournament as junior... Posted a 107-34 record through his four years of high school wrestling... Was named Academic All-State twice... Plans to major in political science and go on to law school after graduating...
