2007-08: Did not wrestle... Was granted a medical redshirt... 

2006-07: Finished the year with a 12-16 record, notching a 9-12 record in dual competition and a 3-4 CAA mark...Earned three pins through his sophomore year...Earned a 16-6 decision over Nicholas Keshecki in Campbell’s win over Wagner...

2005-06: Finished with an overall record of 13-19, posting a 3-5 record in the CAA matches...collected four pins on the season...won two matches in the UNC Pembroke Open and the Carolina Open...

Prep/Personal: Richard M. Apolinar was a four year letter winner at Central Cabarrus and led the Vikings to a conference title in his senior season... he was a four time conference champ wrestling at 103, 112 and 119 respectively... as a senior he was the state champion in the 119 lbs. weight class... he holds the school record with 170 career wins... he was a four-time state qualifier, finishing fourth as a junior before taking the title as a senior... was a regional champion his junior and senior year... for his club wrestling team he was a four-time state champion in the freestyle and Greco-Roman disciplines, finishing fifth in freestyle in the Western regional meet and winning the Central region meet...he is the son of Rich and Dawn Apolinar, born June 14, 1987 in Long Island, N.Y.... has not yet declared a major...
