Joseph Yesufu joined Campbell and Coach Andrzejek's staff as an assistant coach in June 2025.

Yesufu comes to Buies Creek following a six-year collegiate playing career with stops at Drake, Kansas, Washington State, and West Virginia. His time at Washington State saw him play for Kyle Smith, a key mentor for Coach Andrzejek and bringing him into the fold of the same coaching tree.
This past season (2024-25), Yesufu averaged 6.4 points and 2.0 rebounds per game for West Virginia as he finished out his playing career.
The 6’0” guard appeared in 148 career games, averaging 6.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists for his career. His best statistical season came at Drake in 2020-21, where he averaged 12.8 points and 1.8 assists per game for the Bulldogs, including a career-high 36-point outing against Evansville.
While at Kansas, Yesufu was a role player for Kansas’ 2022 national championship team. His addition brings a second national champion to the Campbell coaching staff, along with Coach Andrzejek having done so on the bench with Florida in 2025.
