Payton McCollum

Payton McCollum joined the Campbell Football staff in March 2015.

McCollum, a Winston-Salem, N.C. native, serves as an offensive quality control coach with the Camels, primarily assisting with wide receivers and quarterbacks, and is a national offensive recruiter.

Prior to Campbell, McCollum was a volunteer assistant coach at Mount Tabor High School, where he played in his prep days. McCollum was a high school teammate of current Campbell redshirt senior Hunter Somerville.

McCollum was a three year letterman at Catawba College as a wide receiver, where Campbell running backs coach D.J. Summers was his position coach.

An active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, McCollum graduated from Catawba in 2013 with a degree in economics and finance and a minor in business administration.
