BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell women's tennis fell to Big South Conference foe Liberty 6-1 Monday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The Camels fall to 7-7 overall and 3-3 in conference after their loss to the Flames; Liberty moves to 14-2 overall and remain perfect in Big South play with a 4-0 record.
Senior Tamara Stanic claimed the Camels' only point versus the Flames as she defeated Belen Rivera in straight sets 6-1, 6-2. Stanic improved her season duals record to 7-5 and moved to 4-2 in conference play.
The Camels will return to action Thursday as the travel to Farmville, Va., to take on the Longwood Lancers at 1 p.m.
