Shelby Denkert serves as Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations at her alma mater.
In her role, Denkert oversees all game day operations for Campbell’s 21 NCAA Division I varsity sports while also handling financial reporting, purchasing, and managing budgets.
A former all-conference performer and 2018 graduate, Denkert joined the staff as Director of Soccer Management for the women’s program in 2019. While pursuing her M.Ed. degree in interdisciplinary studies – exercise science, the managed on- and off-field team operations, while also handling all travel logistics.
Denkert then moved to Assistant Director of Game Day Operations in 2021 and assisted in the planning, setup, break down and coordination of events for Campbell’s 21 varsity sport programs.
One year later, she assumed her current responsibilities.
During her four-year career, Denkert earned Big South women’s soccer all-freshman team honors in 2014 and first-team all-conference recognition as a senior (2017). A native of Miami, Fla., she graduated with a B.S. in kinesiology.
