Top Finishers for Campbell at N.C. Intercollegiate Championships

GREENVILLE, N.C.
Mike Earle finished fourth among men's Division I runners
and Tara Dressler was the top women's finisher for Campbell
Saturday morning at the North Carolina Intercollegiate
Championships.
Earle, a senior from
Scarborough, Ontario finished fourth in the Division I Men's 8K
race with a time of 25:15 for his fifth top-ten finish of the year.
John Henderson of N.C. State won the race with a time of 24:58,
while East Carolina's Kyle MacKenzie placed second at
25:03.
Campbell ranked fourth
out of five Division I teams overall posting a score of 95. East
Carolina, the host school, ranked first among Division I teams with
a score of 30.
Dressler was CU's top
finisher among Division I runners in the women's 5K placing seventh
with a time of 18:37. Jessica Collins of East Carolina placed first
at 17:47, with N.C. State's Janelle Vadnaise finished second with a
time of 17:51.
As a team, Campbell
finished third out of five teams with a score of 69. N.C. State
placed first in team scoring with 26 points.
The Campbell Cross
Country teams are next in action on Oct. 30 in Nashville for the
Atlantic Sun Championships.
