BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Belmont shot 73 percent from the floor in the second half to pull away from Campbell 94-85 in Atlantic Sun Conference men's basketball action on Monday night at Carter Gym.

Steve Drabyn scored a career-high 24 points, including 6-of-10 threes, while freshman Josh Goodwin added a season-best 19 points (5-7 treys) for the Bruins (14-5, 9-3), who stretched their longest winning streak of the year to five games.

Adam Mark added 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds, while Brian Collins scored 13, while dealing a personal-best 10 assists for the first double-double of his career.

Junior Dominique Klein led Campbell (2-18, 2-11) with a career-high 20 points, plus 12 rebounds. Tarick Johnson had 14 points and 10 rebounds for his third-straight double-double. Freshman Diego Aguiar added 17 points, while sophomore Corey Parker scored a season-high 14 for the Camels.

Belmont jumped to a 20-8 lead in the first 8:12, but the Camels rebounded with a 12-2 rally, capped by Aguiar's lay-in. Campbell converted seven Belmont first-half turnovers into 10 points and pulled even (37-37) at the break.

With the score tied at 57-57 with 11:38 remaining in the contest, Belmont extended its lead over the next three minutes thanks to long-range, sharp shooting. Drabyn hit a pair of threes, Adrian Jones added a 3-point play, and Nick Otis knocked in a triple to push the advantage to 73-61 with 8:34 to go.

The Bruins' lead reached 16 points before the Camels cut the gap to seven late in the contest.

Just nine days after Belmont defeated the Camels by 32 (92-60) in Nashville, Campbell stayed close by holding a 40-30 advantage on the glass and an 18-2 edge on second-chance points. Campbell also finished with 21 points off 15 Belmont turnovers, while the Bruins only scored eight off CU's 12 miscues.

Belmont hit 15-of-26 three-pointers on the night (.577), including 7-of-10 in the second half. Overall, the Bruins converted 19-of-26 field goals in the final period and 57 percent (32-56) for the game.

Campbell finished the night shooting 44 percent (31-70) from the field, 7-of-19 from 3-point range (.368) and 16-of-19 from the line. The Camels again played without starting point guard Anthony Atkinson, who missed his second-straight game due to a violation of team policy.
