BUIES CREEK, N.C.--
Campbell looks to get back to the winning ways with a game against
conference rival Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Jan 19 at 1 p.m. at
Carter Gym.
"Gardner-Webb is one of
the hottest teams in the league," head coach Wanda
Watkins said. "They are a good inside-outside team.
Although they are young their youthfulness has certainly not hurt
them this season. To beat Gardner-Webb we need to be at our best.
This is a challenge that we are looking forward to and I'm
hopefully we can use the fact that this is home game to our
advantage."
Campbell (6-11, 1-3 A-Sun) leads the
all-time series with Gardner-Webb 11-6 since the schools started
playing in 1994. CU did lose twice to the Bulldogs last season with
